Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski a Houston Medical Doctor discovered a natural non-toxic cancer-fighting agent that has cured many cancers. The FDA National Cancer Institute (NCI) and Pharmaceutical Companies from 1983 – 1997 tried to charge Dr. Burzynski with Regulation Violations and to put him prison without success. Dr Burzynski discovery of Anteneoplastons that turns off the oncogenes the gene responsible for the spread of cancer and turns on the tumor suppressor the gene that helps fight and cure cancer. Some of the cancers Dr. Burzynski has successfully cured are brain cancer, breast cancer, non-hodgkins lymphoma, kidney cancer and lung cancer.

Why would the FDA, NCI and Pharmaceutical Companies want to stop Dr. Burzynski? His discovery would crush and even bankrupt the cancer treatment industries and all the industries involved with the treatment of cancer today’s. The cancer treatment industry is one of the most profitable industries in history and involves numerous professionals associated with the treatment of cancer. Everyone from radiation machines the Doctors, technologist, and/or professionals who run them, chemotherapy drugs and drug companies that make them, the Dr. who prescribe them and the surgeons who try to eradicate the tumors from the cancer patient’s body.

The FDA after many attempts and over $60 million of the taxpayer’s money spent to indict and incarcerate Dr. Burzynski for regulation violations dropped all charges. In 2009, the FDA allowed Dr Burzynski to conduct a phase III Clinical Trials that is they acknowledged that the Anteneoplastons deliver and effect. However while the FDA gives money to Pharmaceutical Companies for support of their clinical trials, Dr. Burzynski has not received any contributions from the FDA for his clinical trials.

There is more to this story of Dr. Burzynski discovery of a cure for many cancers, please see the video below for the complete story.

March 2010 TV show Today Tonight, the truth about the meat we buy, are you really buying what is on the label? Is the meat you buy laced with the chemical, Transglutaminase, otherwise known as “meat glue”? Transglutaminase is made from a blood-clotting enzyme that is being used to “glue” small scraps of meat into what looks like prime cuts to sell for a high price. If you like your steaks rare, you have a greater risk of food poisoning from the 100′s of bacteria that could be in you rare steak when Transglutaminase is used. The questions you should be asking yourself are “Is Transglutaminase still being used today? and “Is Transglutaminase a risk to our health? There are mixed opinions about the safety of Transglutaminase, safe or not you should you be paying a high price for that piece of meat that looks like “prime cut meat” when it is really just scraps of meat glued together with Transglutaminase.

Health Reform Spawning Scams and Fraud

Scammers are attacking our bank accounts, credit cards, debit cards, and our identities. They are assaulting us over the internet, over the phone and in our homes. The con artists are becoming increasingly sophisticated at their games. One new alarming trend is for the scammers to sell fraudulent health care insurance. In the following article Parija Kavilanz of CNNMoney.com highlights what to watch out for and how to protect yourself from health insurance scams.

Fraud experts say health insurance scams are on the rise as criminals quickly exploit consumers’ confusion about how the new health care law changes their insurance coverage.

Most of the schemes are poorly constructed, using the pretext of reform. “So far there’s no major criminal organization behind them,” said James Quiggle, spokesman for non-profit group Coalition
Against Insurance Fraud.

But Quiggle is concerned that as more of the provisions mandated by the new law are phased in over the next four years, these scams “could grow to become an all-encompassing tsunami.”

The government has taken note. Earlier this year, Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius warned state insurance commissioners about new schemes to sell bogus insurance policies.

Last week, HHS announced grants to states to strengthen ongoing efforts to protect consumers from some of the worst insurance industry practices.

Consumers beware: Sally Hurme, who handles consumer fraud issues at AARP, said seniors are especially vulnerable to these new scams. “We’re making a concerted effort to get the word out to our 40 million members,” she said.

But seniors aren’t the only targets. People who buy insurance out of pocket — unemployed individuals, underinsured individuals, as well as individuals who do not get dependent coverage through their work — are also vulnerable, said Lou Saccocio, head of the National Health-Care Anti-Fraud Association, whose members include insurers, law enforcement and regulatory agencies.

Saccocio, citing anecdotal information, said the most common scams involve selling fake health plans, fraudulent medical discount plans and Medicare rebate checks scams.

Here’s What to Watch Out For:

Phantom government coverage: Scammers, claiming they represent the government, go door-to-door selling fake policies. “These crooks tell people without insurance that the law requires them to buy a policy immediately,” said Quiggle. “They also say there’s a limited enrollment period to sign up.”

Both claims are false. There is no enrollment period in the individual market. And the law gives uninsured individuals until 2014 to buy coverage before having to pay a penalty.

Fraudulent discount plans: Crooks are taking advantage of heightened concerns about health insurance costs to sell people “discount plans” disguised as insurance plans, said Kim Holland, Oklahoma’s insurance commissioner.

Holland said these medical discount plans are not insurance policies. These plans only provide discounts on some medical services. The Federal Trade Commission said 24 states have filed 54 lawsuits this year to stop this deceptive practice.

“Some states have outlawed these plans,” said Holland.

$250 Medicare rebate scam: For beneficiaries who’ve fallen into the prescription-drug coverage gap known as the “doughnut hole,” the law created a program this year where the government mails them a $250 check to cover the gap.

Quiggle said scammers are exploiting this opportunity by calling up seniors, asking for their Social Security and Medicare beneficiary numbers, and promising to expedite the checks.

The crooks will then use the information to bill Medicare for false services.

AARP’s Hurme said the group has also become aware of a Medicare card scam. “Scammers are telling seniors that because of the changes in the law, they will have to send them a new card,” she said. And they ask for their personal information.

“This is blatant identity theft,” Hume added.

Peter Ashkenaz, spokesman for the Center for Medicare & Medicare Services, said the agency was aware of anecdotal reports of such scams.

“We have aggressive efforts in place to educate beneficiaries that they do not need to do anything to get the $250 rebate checks,” he said.

How to Protect Yourself

As key provisions of the health care law continue to be phased in, scammers will try to take advantage of consumers who aren’t aware of the new changes.

Coming up in January, Medicare beneficiaries will not have to pay co-pays on preventive services. Ashkenaz said scammers might try to exploit that change.

Experts stress the need for consumers to educate themselves about the new law. The National Association of Insurance Commissioners also offered these tips on how to avoid being a victim.

Beware of fax, email, telephone poll solicitations: Be especially suspicious of solicitations that are blasted to consumers through these means.

Check if insurer is legit: Don’t give out any personal information such as your Social Security numbers or bank information until you verify with your state insurance department that the insurer and agent are licensed to write insurance in your state.

Keep paperwork: Ask for copies of all of the paperwork you sign. Keep a copy of the payment receipt or check for your initial premium payment.

30-day deadline: Call the insurer if you don’t receive a copy of your insurance policy outlining your coverage within 30 days of your purchase.

Medicare beneficiaries: If you are approached to buy any kind of medical insurance package, do not give any personal information to anyone you don’t know.

Additionally, Hurme said the AARP launched a major campaign called “Fight Health care Fraud” in September to educate seniors.

“Seniors can get information on our website,” she said. “We’re also training volunteers to go to senior centers in various states to educate the community.”

Even if you use the utmost caution, you can still be a victim of credit card fraud. Credit card companies and banks are more and more often putting the onus of catching phony or incorrect credit card charges on the consumer.

The most important thing is to check your billing statement, of course. And there are organizations like Creditcards.com that offer tips on how to keep your cards safe as well. Here, we take a look at 10 of the riskiest places you might use your card, according to Creditcards.com, and what you can do to avoid the dangers.

Non-Bank Owned ATMs
Encryption at these ATMs is often not as good as at bank ATMs, meaning some locations are just not as safe. These ATMs also are more likely to be hacked. And in some cases, people have put up devices that look like ATMs but don’t give out cash. Instead, they are just card-skimming devices aimed at stealing your credit card or debit card information.

Flea Markets
Flea market merchants are often transient and can be difficult to locate if there is a problem with charges. It’s especially true for vendors who don’t have online credit card terminals and instead make carbon copies of your credit card.

That doesn’t mean those vendors are necessarily fraudulent, but it makes the transaction less secure. The credit card company might have trouble doing a charge back. If you’re going to the flea market, take cash. It’s also easier to negotiate that way.

Small Shops/Cafes in Foreign Countries
These smaller merchants have a significantly higher percentage of credit card fraud as reported by large banks and credit card companies. Many of these transactions end up being written off by the banks because the merchants simply can’t be located. There’s just a higher chance of fraud when you get outside of the mainstream, so when in doubt, use cash.

Non-Secure Online Checkout
General common sense. Any safe, reputable e-commerce site is going to have a secure checkout page, like the one shown at left. If that doesn’t appear, it should be a red flag. You can almost be sure it’s not legitimate, and even if it is, you’re opening yourself to that transaction being seen by others.

Wi-Fi Hotspots and Public Computers
If you’re going to be making online transactions over an unsecured wireless connection like in cafes, parks and other hot spots, data can be compromised or seen while in transit, even if you’re on a secure page while you’re checking out. The same goes for public computers like in libraries. It’s not advisable to ever transmit personal data when you’re in a public connection environment, especially on non-secure wireless.

Recurring Bills/Subscriptions
Instead of using automatic billing, ask to be billed on a one-time bill by bill basis instead. When you use your credit card for purchases that involve weekly, monthly or annual billings, you can encounter the headache of over-billings, continued billing once a subscription has ended, etc. Some less-than honest merchants will use automatic billing in hopes you’ll forget and won’t check your credit card statement.

Purchases on Smart Phones
Purchases on smart phones can also be less than secure. If your smart phone connects to a public wi-fi signal, you’re going to be much less secure. Someone else can potentially see the transaction, or malware can be placed on your device that can potentially transmit your personal information.

Unsolicited E-Mail Offers
Unless you’ve signed up for solicitations from particular companies, be wary. Check the URL in the e-mail. If it looks suspect, don’t click on it. You can always contact the company through their official website to confirm the legitimacy of the offer.

Strange and Foreign Domain Extensions
If you’re going to be shopping online, it’s best to stay with sites that use a .com extension. And be sure they have a secure checkout. With extensions for countries outside the U.S. — like .ru for Russia — use caution and make sure the company you’re purchasing from is actually located in the country depicted in the domain extension.

Suspect Swipe Terminals
If there’s something that looks suspicious at an ATM or a gas pump credit card swipe terminal — like a separate stand-alone device for you to swipe your card through — or something looks like it’s been added onto the terminal, think twice about using it. More often than not, those types of add-ons are put there by criminals so they can steal your credit card information.

The engineers at Infosys Technologies, India’s second-largest technology company, are at the cutting edge of the country’s almost $60 billion IT industry. It is a low-cost call center, with young Indians keeping U.S. credit card and banking systems buzzing. We have all made calls to our credit card company only to hear someone from India on the other line. Economists theorize many US cities will and have lost a considerable amount of their commerce to India just like Detroit lost the auto industry to Japan.

The US may be at this time the advance leader with the overall strategy items such as the iPhones, however thousands of high tech jobs such as those with IBM are being shipped to India. View “Jobs at IBM” you can see for yourself how many jobs are being offered in India and other counties compared to the US.

Look at the chronological progression of globalization, cars moved to Japan, low-cost manufacturing moved to China and now IT moves to India. Accenture http://www.accenture.com/ an outsourcing company now run by India offers every type of job from Aerospace and Defense to Utilities.

Obama in his speech at the Mumbai summit said, there exists a caricature of India as a land of call centers and back offices that cost American jobs. Yet India many still sees the arrival of American companies and products as a threat to small shop keepers. He also said “Trade between our countries is not just a one-way street of American jobs and companies moving to India. It is a dynamic two-way relationship that is creating jobs, growth and higher standards in both our countries.”

Sen. Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.) and Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr. (D-N.J.) have sponsored a bill that would add new restrictions, fees and penalties for employers to obtain skilled-worker visas. Pascrell says unemployed Americans are eager for the same jobs, which pay guest workers far less. Indian companies say the restrictions and fee increases are unfair. Leading industry leaders in India say this bill hurts their efforts to recruit Indian workers by doubling fees for guest worker visas. Pay for guest a workers is far less than Americans workers bidding for the same jobs.

During the Bush administration 5.5 million manufactures and 42,400 factories closed and have gone overseas and the heads of some of India’s IT companies, estimate that 350,000 + American jobs were lost to India in the past decade.

India’s outsourcing industries are the driving force in their expanding economy, many young Indian consumers now have money to buy cars, computers and afford spacious living. Not only are the US jobs being filled by guest workers that are paid lower wages, many of the small US workers left are forced to train the lower paid foreign workers who took their place.

In the latest meeting between Obama and China’s President Hu Jintao, Obma said We have an enormous stake in each other’s success. In an interconnected world, in a global economy, nations — including our own — will be more prosperous and more secure when we work together. The United States welcomes China’s rise as a strong, prosperous and successful member of the community of nations. Indeed, China’s success has brought with it economic benefits for our people as well as yours, and our cooperation on a range of issues has helped advance stability in the Asia Pacific and in the world

We have supported and boosted the economy of other countries to the point of taking down our own. We need to start fighting back; we need to be just as aggressive as India, Japan and China when it comes to our Auto Industry, IT Technology, and manufacturing. Stop letting big companies and our government give our country away, fight back, and reclaim our jobs in our country.

Has the recession really ended, we have been told spending is up, yet according to United States Department of Labor, jobless for 27 weeks or more was little changed at 6.4 million and accounted for 44.3 percent of the unemployed. The 0.4% decline from 9.9 in 11/2010 to 9.4 in 12/2010, include those employed during the holidays who are now unemployed again. Let’s not be fooled by the department 1/7/2011 Department of Labor report unemployment rose from 9.7 in 1/2010 to 9.8 in 11/2010. Seth Fiegerman, Mainstreet and Yahoo Finance give us the real truth about what to expect for 2011 and the “Next Recession”

For every sign that the economy is improving, there is another hinting that the tough times are not over yet.

Sure, businesses are making money again and could stand to hire again after a long period of layoffs, but for months now many of these companies have sat on record amounts of cash and chosen not to bring on new employees. As a result, the unemployment level remains frozen near 10% and some predict it may get even higher this year. And yes, the housing market may be sorting itself out, but by some estimates, there are still 10 million or more homes in danger of foreclosure, which means we still may not have seen the worst of the housing crash.
With all these competing signals, it can be difficult to decipher whether the economy is on its way out of a recession or on its way back into one. So we surveyed a dozen leading economists to get their opinions on what, if anything, could lead to another recession down the road, whether in six months or six years. Here is what the experts are watching out for.

The Housing Market
If previous recessions are any indication, the housing market is the most likely to sink the economy.
“Historically, the main risk to the economy has come from the housing sector. With two exceptions, it’s led us into all the recessions we’ve ever had,” said Edward E. Leamer, director of the Anderson Forecast at the University of California, Los Angeles, which provides quarterly predictions about the direction of the U.S. economy.

Leamer personally believes that any threat posed by the housing market is still a long way off, but several other economists believe the threat is more immediate.
“Home prices are starting to sag again under the crushing weight of foreclosed properties,” said Sal Guatieri, senior economist and vice president at BMO Capital Markets, an economic research group. “A sharp drop in prices would undermine household wealth and confidence, and reverse the recent pickup in consumer spending. It would also fuel the vicious cycle of delinquencies and tight credit standards.”

Moreover, if 10 million more homes are still to be foreclosed on, this could hurt state and local economies, which are already on thin ice.

“Foreclosures will drive down values, which in turn will drive down local tax revenues (real estate taxes) affecting local government services,” said Mark Lieberman, a private economic consultant and former senior economist for Fox Business Network. “State and local governments will have to shrink payrolls” as a result.

Oil Prices
While the housing market may be the leading contender for triggering the next recession, it’s far from the only risk the economy faces. Several economists also expressed concerns that rising oil prices could stall our road to recovery.

“In the short run, the risk is from the oil sector. If oil prices top $125 [per barrel] and stay there for about three months, then the economy will have a mild recession,” said Rajeev Dhawan, director of the Economic Forecasting Center at Georgia State University. “Consumer spending will take a hit, followed by the capital spending plans of businesses, which will be cut back, leading to a recession.”

Others place the bar for trouble even lower. Bernard Baumohl, the chief global economist at the Economic Outlook Group and author of The Secrets of Economic Indicators, says if oil tops $120 a barrel for two months or longer, it will “cause serious problems for our economy.” Likewise, Baumohl says gas prices exceeding $4.50 a gallon would be an additional red flag for the economy.

So what are the odds of this actually happening?
At the moment, Baumohl’s group predicts a 90% chance that oil prices will shoot above $100 a barrel sometime in 2011. The real question is how much higher they will go after that.
National Debt

“If you ask what the most likely source of a recession is in the next two or three years, it’s the growing indebtedness of the United States,” said Leamer, the UCLA economist.

The national debt recently topped $14 trillion and is on pace to hit the government-imposed ceiling of $14.29 trillion by March of this year. Congress is currently gearing up for a battle over raising the debt ceiling, but even if they do, it won’t solve the basic problem: The U.S. is in over its head in debt and owes hundreds of billions to foreign creditors.

“The most pertinent threat to our economy is probably the sovereign debt horror show playing at a theater near you in the United States,” said Carl Leahey, senior managing director and global economist at Decision Economics, a financial consulting firm. “This year, we could see a loss of investor confidence, a spike in interest rates and a general rolling over in the economy” as a result of the rising debt.

Economists point to the recent debt crises in European countries like Greece and Ireland as a sign of what’s to come if the U.S. government does not get its house in order.

“The ongoing European debt crisis would provide a small window to what the U.S. could potentially face,” said Dian Chu, a chartered economist who runs the financial blog Economic Forecasts and Opinions. If the debt crisis did blow up, he says, “The U.S. government would most likely resort to austerity measures, and/or raise taxes, which could really plunge the economy into a recession or even a depression.”

The Bond Market
If there were a debt crisis, our economists say it would likely wreak havoc on the bond market, as the Treasury struggles to finance debt and raises interest rates on Treasury bonds.

But even if debt concerns are overblown, some economists believe there is still another risk to the bond market, and to the economy as a whole: At the end of 2010, the Federal Reserve decided to buy another $600 billion worth of bonds, in a second stimulus known as quantitative easing (or QE2) intended to provide a boost to the economy.

Yet, perhaps counter-intuitively, the Fed’s attempt to jumpstart the economy could actually end up destabilizing it.

“If the economy is showing fresh vigor, as it has in recent months, and the Federal Reserve insists on pumping more reserves into the economy, then it could lead to a potential crisis in the bond market, where investors begin to worry about future inflation risks,” said Baumohl of the Economic Outlook Group. This worry could potentially drive many investors to flee from the bond market.

“This stampede to get out of bonds could cause yields on longer term securities to rise very quickly, which could hut the economy, and certainly hurt real estate because of its impact on mortgage rates. So that’s one real scenario we need to keep an eye on in the next six months,” Baumohl said.
Commercial Banks

It may be hard to believe, given all the money that has been pumped into the financial sector in the form of bailouts, but the banking industry as a whole still faces big problems with their balance sheets.

“As the economy starts to recover and the government begins to tighten monetary policy a little bit, I’m not sure there’s enough capital in the financial sector at the moment to support robust growth,” said Douglas W. Diamond, an economist at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Diamond is particularly concerned that smaller banks may not have enough resources to stay solvent, let alone to do much lending to businesses and homeowners.

“I think we could see a continuing number of failures in intermediate and smaller size banks,” Diamond said. “This is not a disaster because most of corporate America has strong balance sheets at the moment and could acquire the firms that don’t. But if there turns out to be solvency issues in the remaining firms, that’s definitely an issue.”

North Korea and Iran
Even if everything in the U.S. economy runs smoothly, there’s always a wild card threat, and right now that means North Korea or Iran.

According to Baumohl, any military action between North and South Korea could scare the global markets and hurt our economy as a result. Similarly, if the U.S. decides to take military action against Iran in the coming years, it could impact oil prices and negatively impact the world economy and our own.

If you don’t already have one get an extra freezer, shop around for deals before you buy one, bigger is not always better, be smart and buy one according to your family size. Buy food that’s on sale and stock up. Cook batches of soups and sauces to freeze, much cheaper than the store bought stuff and nicer too. Buy large packs of meat from stores where you can buy in bulk and separate it all into bags for the freezer.

Try to cut down on your food waste, use Tupperware tubs to keep leftovers as fresh as you can until using them, try to keep fruit in the fridge in this hot weather so that it lasts longer. Shop sensibly; remember that shops put the stuff they really want to sell the most (with the highest profit margin) at eye level, so learn to look around for better value products. Consider some more shop brand products; try various ones to find out what you like. Use the vouchers that you find for money off – cut them out and put them in your bag/purse when you see them so you don’t get to the checkout then suddenly realize that you left them at home.

Remember to switch off all electrical appliances when you’re not using them. Try to cut down how much you do use by drying clothes on a clothes line instead of a tumble drier, switch off lights during the day, turn off the TV for some puzzles or story time instead. Find cheaper days out – kids are delighted with the park or a good garden. Invite friends round for kids’ play time and swap turns at each other’s houses. Buy kids clothes in the end of season sales – remembering what age group to buy for next summer so that at the start of next summer, you don’t have to spend a fortune on clothes they’ll be selling for half the price in a few weeks. Buy second-hand clothing in garage sales or thrift stores, trade clothes your children have outgrown with friends and family. If you watch a lot of films, try a cheap DVD rental rather than buying new ones.

See if you can save money on energy by switching companies. Energy companies are constantly changing their prices and offering new deals, it’s best to keep an eye out for where you can save. Review your driving, are you over-revving and wasting fuel? Think about how to drive the economical way. Try to use your air conditioner as little as you can, that’s a real drain on the tank! Did you know that gas stations change their prices through the week?

Wash your own car rather than pay for it – its great fun for kids put them in their messy clothes and give them a cloth. Hold game night tournaments at home; invite family and friends over for fun. Consider doing split-shift for child-care: Rather than placing children in daycare, parents can take turns taking care of children based on their work schedule.

Most of us have heard about “Erin Brockvich”, a single mother who started work as a file clerk in her attorney’s office. In 1993 she uncovered a cover up of an industrial poisoning “hexavalent chromium – chromium-6“, in the water supply of a town in Hinkley CA by Pacific Gas & Electric (PG & E.) Nineteen years later, we are still being exposed to the toxic chemical “hexavalent chromium – chromium-6” via our water supply. Brett Michael Dyles, The Washington Post and Yahoo news, share with us, what the “Environmental Work Group Report” found on “hexavalent chromium” in our tap water.

The group — whose study was first reported in a story Sunday by the Washington Post’s Lyndsey Layton – tested water from 35 U.S. cities and found that samples from 31 cities contained hexavalent chromium. The highest concentrations were found in Norman, Okla.; Honolulu; and Riverside, Calif. The substance had been a widely used industrial chemical for decades and has evidently leached into the groundwater in many areas.

The EWG report states:
“Despite mounting evidence of the contaminant’s toxic effects, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has not set a legal limit for chromium-6 in tap water and does not require water utilities to test for it. Hexavalent chromium is commonly discharged from steel and pulp mills as well as metal-plating and leather-tanning facilities. It can also pollute water through erosion of natural deposits.

“The authoritative National Toxicology Program (NTP) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has said that chromium-6 in drinking water shows ‘clear evidence of carcinogenic activity’ in laboratory animals, increasing the risk of gastrointestinal tumors. Just last October, a draft review by the EPA similarly found that ingesting the chemical in tap water is ‘likely to be carcinogenic to humans.’ Other health risks associated with exposure include liver and kidney damage, anemia and ulcers.”

Drinking-water supplies all over the country are increasingly tainted by chemicals used in natural gas drilling. And Erin Brockovich, for her part, told the EWG that she’s rather astonished to find that hexavalent chromium is still a prospective health threat in so many communities.
“It is sometimes difficult to understand why I still have to warn the public about the presence of hexavalent chromium in drinking water 23 years after my colleagues and I first sounded the alarm,” Brockovich told the EWG. “This report underscores, in fairly stark terms, the health risks that millions of Americans still face because of water contamination.”

The list of cities found to have hexavalent chromium in the municipal water supplies are as follows:
• Honolulu, HI
• Bend, OR
• Sacramento, CA
• San Jose, CA
• Los Angeles, CA
• Riverside, CA
